Συνεχίζονται οι έλεγχοι της ΕΛΑΣ για την πάταξη της διενέργειας παράνομων τυχερών παιχνιδιών σε ολόκληρη την Κρήτη.
Μέχρι αυτήν τη στιγμή έχουν συλληφθεί 13 άτομα, 11 έλληνες και 2 αλλοδαποί, σε Ρέθυμνο και Χανιά, ενώ κατασχέθηκε το χρηματικό ποσό των 1.895 ευρώ, προερχόμενο από τη διεξαγωγή των απαγορευμένων τυχερών παιχνιδιών, μαζί με 108 μάρκες.
Όλοι οι συλληφθέντες, ηλικίας από 31 έως και 83 ετών, συμμετείχαν σε παράνομο ΠΟΚΕΡ και ΖΑΡΙΑ, σε καφενεία ιδιοκτησίας Ελλήνων όπου είχαν διαμορφώσει ειδικούς χώρους για τη διεξαγωγή των παράνομων παιχνιδιών.
Εν τω μεταξύ, χθες συνελήφθη στη Χερσόνησο Ηρακλείου ένας 54χρονος Έλληνας για κατοχή ναρκωτικών, μετά από έρευνα σε σκάφος ιδιοκτησίας του, όπου εντοπίστηκε ποσότητα άνω των 250 γραμμαρίων ινδικής κάνναβης.
